What is recorded here

Coolduff Church stands beside a graveyard where headstones from the 1890s still mark the buried dead. The stones have survived rain, wind and forgetting because the living kept returning to remember them. That is why the place still exists: not for display, but for continuity.

Graveyard surrounding church (CO083-054002-) contains some inscribed headstones dating from 1890s. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
