What is recorded here

A post (diam. 0.07m) and stake (diam. 0.05m) exposed on the field surface, with a third displaced in the drain (L 0.4m; diam. 0.07m). The two in situ elements were set 0.4m apart at 35-90° angles. One of the pieces has been identified as alder. They were worked to a chisel and a pencil point end and set into the raised bog peat with frequent Eriophorum, twigs and occasional Sphagnum.
