A section of the bawn wall of Conva Castle (CO034-037001-) survives to the N and W of the tower house, with a circular flanking tower (int. diam. 3.6m) in the NW corner (see plan Cotter 1994, 69-71). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
