What is recorded here
On a gentle SW-facing slope in pasture. Depicted as a circular ringfort on the first edition (1842) of the OS 6-inch map, and hachured on the later OS 25-inch plan (1897) and Cassini edition (1920) of the OS 6-inch map. The latter mapping depicts a subcircular enclosure (diams. c. 27m E-W; c. 23m N-S) defined by an enclosing bank from NE-S-WSW, with the bank overlain by a later field boundary from WSW-NW-NE. When inspected in 1998, no surface remains were visible, with the later field boundary also removed. Subsurface archaeological remains may survive intact.
