What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Cloonconeen, though old maps and local memory still mark the lost ringfort. It may have been a small stronghold, a farm defensible in bad years, or a boundary marker dressed up as strength. The land has taken back what people built there, leaving only the name to refuse forgetting.
