What is recorded here

DEtached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800, with attic, and having flat-roofed addition to rear. Pitched thatched roof with scolloped ridge, render copings and low rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls. Square-headed timber sliding sash one-over-one pane windows and limestone sills. Square-headed doorway with recent glazed timber door.
This traditional thatched house, typical of the region, has a simply detailed thatched roof, low chimneystack, and simple openings. The retention of many of the traditional features enhances the building, as does its setting, with a front garden.
