What is recorded here
In rough, wet pasture, in a flat-bottomed N-S valley. One of several fulachtaí fia and burnt mounds which occur over a distance of 1.5km along the base of the valley. Upon a naturally-occurring scarp is a very slight rise (diam. c. 10m) with a thick mossy covering. A thin layer of burnt stone and charcoal is visible at an eroded area at NW. It is possible that this mound and a burnt mound (SL019-015----), visible in a drain a few meters to N, form parts of a single monument. There is another burnt mound (SL019-253----) c. 15m to SE.
