Situated on Abbey Street, at the corner of Francis Street within Ennis historic town (CL033-082----). Spellissy (1987, 80) cited in Bradley, Halpin and King (1988, 50) notes that in 1681 John Cruce was required to build a house next to his own, 40ft (12.1m) long, 18ft (5.4m) broad and 14ft (4.2m) high.
