Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00664 Dimensions: H 0.18, W 0.25, T 0.045 Part of an animal head or lee probably the loop from a terminal (see CLN00334 and CLN00335). No inscription. Evidence of discovery: Davis 1984. Inaccurately recorded as part of Macalister 334 (presumably in 1954-58). Condition: Fragment with part of an animal design.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
