Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00630 Dimensions: H 6ins, W 4.5ins, T 1.5ins Fragment of part of an inscription. Inscription: Possibly part of 'IM'. Evidence of discovery: Macalister 1898-1905. Condition: Now lost.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. Dated to the early Christian period (5th–9th century AD), the fragment may originate from a Christian gravestone or cross-slab associated with the monastic site of Clonmacnoise. The inscription, though incomplete, may relate to a personal name or religious formula common in early Irish inscribed stones.
