Date likely to the early medieval period, possibly 8th to 10th century, based on the style of inscribed Christian grave-slabs in Clonmacnoise. The inscription "ACCA" may reference Saint Patrick’s biographer, Saint Augustine of Canterbury, or another early Christian figure, suggesting a religious or commemorative use.
