Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00571 Dimensions: H 0.47, W 0.25, T 0.035 Part of a cross in a circular frame beneath which there is an initial cross with bar and V-shaped terminals and an inscription. Inscription: 'FIU'. Evidence of discovery: Macalister 1898-1905. Condition: Part of frame, inscription and initial cross. Lionard, Early Irish Grave-slabs, PRIA 60(1959-60), p 102, Fig 1, no. 8.
