Clonmacnoise cross-slab CLN00382 is a small flaked fragment, twenty-two centimetres tall and thirty centimetres wide, bearing an expansional cross with a semicircular terminal and the letters OR. The fret pattern has broken away, leaving only part of the stem and terminal exposed. It is the kind of stone where a name has been lost but the shape of devotion remains, a thin white slice still holding the ghost of a prayer.

Date likely to the early medieval period (8th–10th century). The cross-slab may have had a Christian funerary or commemorative function, typical of monastic sites like Clonmacnoise.
