Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00259 Dimensions: H 0.345, W 0.295, T 0.035 A single line incised cross with triangular terminal expansions and lozenge-shaped centre containing an initial cross inside a single line circular frame. Inscriptioin: Inscribed horizontally across the upper arm of the cross 'ALUUMGAL'. Evidence of discovery: OPW 1954-58. Condition: In two pieces; part of the frame is missing.
