Cross-slab in Clonmacnoise

Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00165 Dimensions: H 0.75, W 0.555, T 0.083 Double outline ring cross, the ring of which connects the square arm and rectangular strem terminals; the latter has two spirals enclosing an interlace knot. The two line border, with varying irregular fret pattern, has no upper edge to complete a frame. Inscription: 'OROIT AR MAELA' fills the position normally occupied by the upper edge of the frame.
