Blackball Head appears through the pasture gap, watched from a narrow stone that has stood since before human memory. The terrace holds warmth in winter and reflects light across the field at dawn. People may have gathered there to mark seasons, honor ancestors or simply enjoy the view. The stone remains patient, waiting for someone to notice what it has always shown.

In a level pasture field, on a terrace on a S-facing slope overlooking Blackball Head to the SW. This standing stone (0.72m x 0.5m; H 0.95m) is roughly rectangular in plan and is orientated N-S.
