In a level area of limestone c. 750m S of Cill Éinne, Inis Mór. A ruinous D-shaped clochan (L 10.8m, Wth 8.3m ext.) now reduced to a cairn of loose limestone blocks. A narrow L-shaped lintelled passage along N and W sides is a later sheep shelter inserted into the monument. Traces of the original foundations are visible at E. (Robinson 1980) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
