On Rindown peninsula close to the SW shore. About 18-21m to the W and N of the parish church of Rindown (RO046-004003-) is an earthen bank (Wth 3m; H 0.5m) which may have delimited the church precinct (dims c. 80m NW-SE: c. 60m NE-SW), defined also by a stone field wall at SW and a pond (dims c. 70nm N-S; c. 25m E-W) formed in the fosse of the promontory fort (RO046-004001-) at SE, but there is no evidence of burial. (Bradley and Dunne 1988a, 75)
