On S side of walled garden of country house (The Glen). According to Grove White (1905-25, vol. 3, 303), local tradition of old church (CO026-105003-) and burial ground on south of garden wall, 'where the gravel walk runs'. Referring to church, Windele in 1847 noted, 'its vestiges scarce remain' (ibid.). No visible surface trace remains of church or burial ground. Holy tree (14050) and holy well (14009) c. 40m to E, and c. 25m to N respectively. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
