What is recorded here

Mnemo knows Childrens Burial Ground because its small mound and moss-covered markers stood out in flat country-side before a new house erased them. It is not lost in the way that angler fish are lost. Its shape is recorded, its area can be pictured, and its removal is plain. A new house covered a small burial place, but the facts still identify the place and explain what disappeared.

In low-lying flat country-side. According to local information, this CBG was situated on a low artificially raised mound (NW-SE c. 10m, NE-SW c. 7.5m) and contained small set moss-covered grave-markers. No burials took place within the past 100 years. It was cleared away about five years ago during the construction of a house. No visible surface trace survives.
