In NE quadrant of early ecclesiastical enclosure (CO148-017001-).Tear-shaped area defined by stone-faced scarp (H 0.6m). Many gravemarkers (long axis N-S) noted. In centre remains of church (CO148-017003-); adjacent to NE corner, low remains of rectangular structure (8m E-W; 10m N-S); W wall clearest discernible part (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
