What is recorded here

In centre of ringfort (8582). Hollow (L 6.7m; Wth 4m; D 0.5m) indicates collapsed chambers; partially surrounded by spoil from digging in modern times. Two lintels exposed at E end of hollow; third lintel partially exposed in animal burrow close by. Collapsed ground extends westwards from centre towards bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
