Cut limestone entrance gateway to Castle View, built c. 1790, comprising square-profile piers having paired pilasters, string courses and moulded caps with ornate fluted finials, flanking vehicular entrance and pedestrian entrances, having single and double-leaf cast-iron gates with fleur-de-lys-headed railings. Pedestrian entrances have square arches with cut limestone Single-bay single-storey gate lodge to south, now in disuse and roofless, having rubble limestone walls with render string course, square-headed window opening and elliptical-arched door opening to road with brick voussoirs.
