What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined cashel in Galway pastureland, its collapsed stones still drawing a shallow circle around forgotten life. Two upright rocks at the north may have marked the entrance, leaving a narrow gap where people once entered or watched the sky. The field wall cutting through the west suggests the fort stopped being a home before it became a landmark, reduced to a shape the land still repeats.

In gently rolling pastureland and rock outcrop. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (33.7m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall best preserved at SE. At N two orthostats, 0.7m apart, may mark the original entrance gap. A field wall cuts through the enclosing element at W.
