What is recorded here
Death in childhood was common enough that whole grounds were set aside for it. Burial Ground in County Mayo, Ireland is one such children's place, though no visible marker may remain to show where the small bodies lie. The land has probably been walked, farmed or forgotten since those deaths, carrying their weight without naming it.
