Indicated is a levelled fairy fort on a Mayo ridge, its circular outline reduced to a slight rise in average pasture near the Owenmore River. It sits between two other enclosures, forming a tight triangular cluster that likely marked a boundary or settlement. The land has swallowed the wall, but the shape remains visible enough to suggest purpose.

In average pasture, located on an undulating ridge top, which provides good views of the surrounding countryside. The Glenree or Owenmore River is located c. located c. 200m to S. Shown on the 1837-8 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m), and on the 1922 edition as a sub-circular enclosure incorporated into a system of field boundaries. This enclosure has been levelled; its outline is discernible as a slight rise in field level.
