What is recorded here

Lisroe is a Clare fairy fort where the soil still remembers the shape of hands that stopped belonging to living people. It is an earthen ring, not a broken one, a boundary drawn around a house no longer meant for witness. People may have lived there before the name changed, but the story belongs to the tenants who arrived after forgetting how to leave. The fort does not hide. It waits for the distinction between residence and captivity to stop mattering.
