What is recorded here

Carrigrour is a west Cork townland that once held a standing stone now lost to time. The place is recorded in an archaeological inventory, yet the stone itself has vanished without a trace. What remains is a gap in the landscape where a marker should still stand, inviting wonder about what it witnessed and who placed it there.
