Detached two-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, having gable-fronted projecting block to front (east), earlier two-bay two-storey block to side (north), and later extension to rear (west). Incorporating fabric of earlier building. Pitched slate roof with red brick and rendered chimneystacks, terracotta ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. Stepped roughcast rendered parapets to gables of projecting block and northern block having render coping. Roughcast rendered walls with recessed rendered plinth band. Round-headed window openings to first floor of front elevation, having square-headed window openings elsewhere, with limestone sills throughout. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed door opening to front elevation, having timber panelled door, single-pane fanlight and limestone threshold. Square-headed door openings to former dwelling, with timber battened doors. Outbuildings to rear of site with pitched corrugated-iron roofs and rubble stone walls. Square-profile render piers to front of site with curved roughcast rendered walls and double-leaf wrought-iron gates.
