The church ruins (LI020-082001-) standing in Cappagh graveyard was known in medieval period as Kilmaclugna (Begley 1906, 113). Church ruins stand in SW quadrant of large roughly rectangular shaped graveyard (approx. dims. 60m N-S x 43m E-W) enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at centre of W wall. Modern car park to S. Earlier memorials clustered to S of church with modern memorials to N of church.
