What is recorded here

On Coolnacarrick Hill above Ballaghmore, an irregular cairn marked a boundary before trees and scrub swallowed the open sky. Locals called it Fear Breige, the Hardy Man, as if stones could hold a line against forgetting. The forest now hides what the name refused to release.
