What is recorded here

In low-lying level pasture, surrounded by karst. Five lintels extend (L 3.5m N-S) along two parallel lines of karst, covering space (Wth 0.8m) between them. The above description has been derived from D. Lavelle (compiler), An Archaeological Survey of Ballinrobe and District including Lough Mask and Lough Carra. Lough Mask and Lough Carra Tourist Development Association (1994), No. 86. Date of upload: 12 December 2014

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
