What is recorded here

Indicated is a shallow fairy fort in Mayo, a circular earth bank barely sixty centimetres high around a level pasture space. It is not a grand ruin but a quiet mark, a thin ring of old hands in the grass. The gap in the northeast still points toward the sky, as if the fort never closed, only waited.

In level pastureland. Circular area (39.5m N-S; 41.5m E-W), enclosed by bank of earth and stone (H 0.6m). Gap (Wth 7.3m) in NE. Bank overlain by stone field fence, SSW to NNW.
