This rectangular bawn (30.2m N-S; 22.3m E-W) is associated with a tower house (GA097-044----) which occupies its N half. It survives as a grassed-over mound with internal and external revetment visible intermittently and it is best preserved along the S side (Wth 1.15m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.9m). Hawthorn trees are growing along the W side. Large limestone blocks and collapsed chunks of mortared stone are strewn about the N end of the interior. A large stone-lined pit is visible at NE. A number of breaches occur but the original entrance was not discernible.
