What is recorded here
This is the record for the burnt mound excavated by Goorik Dehaene (E3223) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The burnt material sealed a trough and three pits. Poorly preserved remnants of timber lining was evident in the trough and of a clay lining around the top. A radiocarbon date places this feature in the early/middle Bronze Age. (Dehaene 2009j)
