In pasture, located on an NNE−SSW ridge, in what is otherwise wet, lowlying ground. This graveyard, associated with a church (MA021-041002-), is not indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. A roughly square area, annotated ‘Burial Gd.’ and ‘Kilogunra Church (Site of)’, is shown on the 25-inch plan; on the later 1922 OS 6-inch map, the location is annotated as ‘Burial Gd.’ and ‘Kilogunra Church (Site of)’ but the outline of the burial ground is no longer indicated.
Grassed-over wall footings, defining a roughly square area (14.2m ENE-WSW; 13m NNE-SSW; Wall T 0.8m) can be seen here. The interior is filled with rubble. According to local tradition, a stone in the WSW wall is said to have miraculous powers. It is unclear to what extent the wall footings represent the remains of the church or, perhaps, define an area used for burials.
