A ringfort with associated early medieval burial activity; significant for human remains discovered during 19th-century levelling.

What is recorded here

In a levelled rath (KE048-114001-). In the 1840s it was recorded that Killahane fort 'was formerly a burial ground' and that when it was being levelled 'a great deal of human being bones' were found there (OSNB, Molahiffe, no. 1, 37).
