Bullán — Ballynabortagh

Bullaun stone

Why this matters

Likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, this small rectangular stone with a central oval depression may have had ritual or symbolic significance, possibly as a marker or offering site. Its placement near a levelled circular enclosure suggests a broader ceremonial landscape, though specific folklore or use remains unrecorded.
