The Great Western Steamship Company Drawing Offices, built in 1839, are significant for their association with the design of ships including Isambard Kingdom Brunel's ss Great Britain. John Solway, a lifelong member and supporter of the ss Great Britain Trust, left a legacy that funded restoration work on these historic offices in 2008.
