Probably an artificial mound although some rock outcrop is evident on the sides. It has a flat top 4m in diameter but it is believed that there was formerly a depression here which was filled in some time ago. The S side is very steep due to the slope of the hill. On the N side is a fosse-like depression. A low earth/stone bank runs perpendicularly across this to the mound. Outside the fosse is a low outer scarp or bank with an inner stone facing.
