In forestry, on poorly drained ground cut by land drains and watercourses, the Dead River IS 250m to N which also marks a townland boundary with Pullagh. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified as a suboval-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 169: AP 4/3725). Monument is not visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/05/2002 and the area is obscured by forestry on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/05/2017.
