What is recorded here

On a SW-facing slope in pasture. A large, oval raised area (c. 64m NW-SE; c. 56m NE-SW) enclosed by fragmentary traces of a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.2m; H 0.4m). From NNE-NE-E the bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. Immediately inside the bank at NW is a low, steep-sided, circular mound of earth and stone (H c. 2.5m; diam. at base c. 12m; diam. of summit c. 9m) of unknown significance. Compiled by: Patrick F.
