This blue commemorative plaque records: The Masonic Hall Designed by G Hackford built in 1860/63. The Egyptian style portico of this building was based on the Temple of Dandour in Nubia. The original temple was given to The United States in 1965 and re-erected in the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York.
