Gateway, extant 1894, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of drag edged tooled limestone ashlar piers having cut-limestone capping supporting arrow head-detailed flat iron double gates. Repositioned, ----. Now disused. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Bloomfield House.
A gateway reclaimed from the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, Robeen, making a pleasing visual statement in a sylvan street scene at an obsolete entrance on to the grounds of the Bloomfield House estate (cf. 31311012).
