THE JAPANESE GARDEN OPENED 13 MAY 2005 BY HIS EXCELLENCY MR YOSHIJI NOGAMI AMBASSADOR OF JAPAN ON BEHALF OF THE BIRMINGHAM BOTANICAL & HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
The Japanese Garden was established in 2005 through a collaboration between the Birmingham Botanical & Horticultural Society and the Japanese community, symbolizing cultural exchange. It was officially opened by Ambassador Yoshiji Nogami, reflecting Japan's diplomatic and cultural ties with the UK.
