Fairy fort is a place where human life and fairy life overlap. It is not a joke or a trick. The boundary between the visible and hidden worlds becomes thin. People may meet fairy folk, lose time, or receive gifts that change their understanding of reality. The fort marks a threshold. It is not a death trap. It is a transformation place.
