What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular stone fort on high ground above the pasture, its wall broken in three places and rebuilt in one. The stones still stand though much has fallen, enclosing a small underground passage that no longer needs explaining. People may have lived there, hidden there or simply marked the hill before leaving. The fort remains because it was made to remain, waiting for someone to notice the shape of what they built.

In pasture, on high ground just SW of Green Hill. Circular area (29m N-S; 30.5m E-W) enclosed by stone wall (H 1.1m; Wth 0.8m); collapsed to E; rebuilt to NW. Gap in wall to ESE (Wth 2.6m); S (Wth 3m); recent gap to NW (Wth 4.5m). Man-made underground passage (CO095-02002-) in interior.
