What is recorded here

A 31-metre earthen ring in Bengour East pasture, built or shaped by human hands before memory, still holds its circular line beneath grass and dropped stones. The low bank may have marked a home, a boundary, or a place of ritual, but the earth has kept the shape while witness and name have faded. Walk its edge at dusk and the fort feels less like ruin than like a paused breath, waiting for someone to remember why it was made.

In pasture on gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 31m) defined by low earthen bank, with large field clearance boulders dumped on it. Smaller stones dumped in interior.
