Carrigan (1905, 4, 246-7) notes a rock called Cluck-volly-eye-nawn - Ballyeyenawn Rock. O'Kelly (1969, 132) refers to 'a cromleac here which Carrigan records in his Notes as Cloch Bhaile Fhionnáin, the Ballyfinaun stone'. There is no local knowledge of the existence of this site and its exact location is unknown.
