Bawn in Dundrum

Bawn

Why this matters

Bawn in Dundrum was associated with an O'Dwyer castle in the 17th century and is remembered for being noted in the Civil Survey of 1654–56 as requiring repair, reflecting the decline of Gaelic lordships following the Nine Years' War.
